PARAGRAPH ( English VIII Assignment )

James Earl Jones is one of the most celebrated Black actors in the entertainment business, yet few are aware he has had a stuttering problem since childhood. Despite the problem, his powerful voice can be heard during station breaks on CNN, as the evil Darth Vader in the Star Wars film trilogy and as King Mufasa in The Lion King. Stuttering is a speech disorder in which a person repeats sounds or syllables with prolonged sounds or hesitations. Singing and reading have been ways to help a stutterer speak with fluency. In public speaking, the scripted page has often been considered a stutterer's salvation and for Jones it became just that. "You keep the stuttering under control because you have a script," he explained in Parade Magazine. "In real life, I just try to get through the day or through the conversation. I'm not good in talk-show interviews. I will think of something that might be brilliant to say, and I can't get it worded," Jones revealed. In A Family Thing, Jones, most recent film, he, for the first time, portrays a character who stutters (JET, April 1). According to Jones, during one of the first readings of the script, his stuttering slipped out and the film's director, Richard Pearce, suggested that it be a part of his character's vulnerability.

Not using Curl to twitter?

I am trying to not use curl in a Perl script to send automatic updates to twitter, but without luck yet. I have downloaded the libraries Net::twitter and Net::twitter:Lite and I have problems using both of them. Too many unresolved dependencies. And I am not so good installing Perl Libraries....

Maybe I am blind right now, because I am starving... ;) I will update shortly.

VICE Commodore 64 - M.U.L.E. Cheats

Like my Blog, from Dusk Till Dawn (all night long), I have found the codes to cheat on this master piece.

I was looking something in the internet, but No luck at all. So I did some research and remembering how to use the "monitor" that is included in VICE. ( ALT M ) to activate it.
I began to search the numbers in the memory.

First numbers to find were the money, using the Windows Calc to convert from Dec to Hex and knowing that a number in the memory is backwards ( reverse ). Ex. Dec = 1600 is Hex = 0640, but you must search 40 06 in memory, that´s how it´s stored.

I have found all the data to cheat on the game and win it always. It will lose some magic, but you could have some advantage against the computer.

This is the memory location table I have created with the data:

Player

MONEY

Smithore

Crystite

Food

Energy

1

E2BA-E2BB

E1CA

E1CE

E1C2

E1C6

2

E2BC-E2BD

E1CB

E1CF

E1C3

E1C7

3

E2BE-E2BF

E1CC

E1D0

E1C4

E1C8

4

E2C0-E2C1

E1CD

E1D1

E1C5

E1C9

So, if you want to raise your money, just press ALT M to activate the Monitor

and fill the E2C0-E2C1 with higher values, like this: ( if you are the 4th Player )

f e2c0 e2c0 00
f E2C1 E2C1 FF

or better and faster way:

f e2c0 e2c1 F0

Exit the monitor ( press x and enter ) and continue playing, you will see the results.

Do the same to increase food, energy and everything you want to. But wait, do it after the production bars goes up. You will see the results.

This cheat was tested with VICE 1.15, C-64 Mode and M.U.L.E. on Windows XP.

I haven´t tested for Atari or other platforms.

Just a few tips: Don´t raise your money to Hex FFFF ( Dec 65535 ) because it will began from Zero when winning more money.

I hope you enjoy starting to play with enough money.... as much as I did.
